European and international collaborations

At the international level, work on the physical properties and hydrophobicity of horticultural growing media has benefited from two Fulbright Excellence Grants in 2014/2015 and 2021 at North Carolina State University in the Horticultural Substrates Laboratory, with which collaborations are ongoing.

The team also collaborates with the University of Batna (Algeria) on the characterization and modeling of greenhouse climate in semi-arid climatic zones.

In partnership with UMR SAS, the unit has also initiated a collaboration with the University of Arizona in the framework of a post-doctoral project funded by the Pays-de-la-Loire Region around the climatic study of livestock buildings.

Since 2018, the unit has been collaborating with the Department of Agronomic and Forestry Engineering of the Pontificia Univerdsidad Catolica of Chile, on the theme of urban soils and horticultural substrates.
