Equipment
The research unit has an important battery of sensors for measuring the soil, the plant and the air compartment.
It has also invested in the purchase of heavier equipment and software such as Hydrus and Fluent Ansys.
Finally, it benefits from access to the Shared Experimental Facilities (experimental greenhouses and climatic chambers), now called PHENOTIC, which is a real asset of the Anjou campus.
For its bioclimatology studies in an urban environment, it has also set up a tree-lined canyon street on a 1/5 scale, instrumented on the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum.
It has a pedological database (Donesol), which makes it possible to spatialize various properties or behaviors of the soils, as well as to inform decision support tools.
It has established an agreement with the University of Angers and the MOLTEC laboratory in order to have access to specific analysis equipment for the characterization of functional groups of organic matter by medium infrared spectrometry (MIRS).
