CouvertureL'unité a pris part à l'élaboration des cartes des sols d’Angers au 1/100 000 d’Angers, du Maine et Loire et de la Vendée au 1/250 000 dans le cadre du Référentiel Régional Pédologique (RRP) des Pays de la Loire.

Ce projet visait à établir un système spatialisé d’informations multi-échelles sur les sols, mobilisable pour répondre aux besoins de gestion et d'aménagement des collectivités territoriales, des organisations professionnelles, et des administrations.

Il a débouché sur 3 cartes présentant l’organisation des sols régionaux, leurs fonctionnalités et les services rendus qui constituent des outils d’aide à la décision aussi bien pour les gestionnaires et aménageurs de collectivités territoriales, que pour les organisations professionnelles et les administrations.
